Thank you so much for the smooth transaction in the sale of our rental property in Austin.

Actually, I have a very difficult time expressing my gratitude to you for the way you handled the entire sale. We owe you so much as you’ve turned a totally impossible situation into an easy process.

You may not remember, but our tenant was scheduled to be moving out of our property at the end of June. Upon notifying the property management company of our wish to sell the property and have you represent us, they terminated their services with us, 30 days prior to the tenant moving out. If that was not difficult enough, at the time you did a walk-through to assess the condition of our house, you notified us of the deplorable state the house was in, both inside and out.

Two weeks before the management company’s services ended, the tenant called stating that the air conditioner was not working; this was in the middle of many days that Austin had temperatures in the low 100s. Not only did the management company ignore the tenants’ complaints, they also failed to notify us.

After two weeks of no response from the property management company, the tenant called me on my cell phone. I had no time to argue liability with the negligent property management company, knowing lives were at risk. When I called, you immediately put us in touch with your repair person. He also returned my call the same day and went out to the property the following morning when he notified me that the unit needed to be replaced, a service, which he performed within 24 hours! The tenants were finally cool in their house and my stress level diminished, thanks to your prompt and helpful response.

After the tenants moved out, your repair guy wrote up a list of things that absolutely needed to be done, based on advice. All repairs were done in a speedy, professional manner. Not once were we worried about repairs being done correctly, being taken advantage of, etc. You turned an extremely difficult situation for us, being that we live in Hawaii and the house is located in Austin, into such an uncomplicated, easy and extremely well managed process.

The house was listed on a Wednesday; we had the first offer on Friday of the same week. It was simply unbelievable.

Not only did we achieve the goal of selling the house, but also in our desired price-range.

In summary, there was an incredible amount of potential disasters starting with the abandonment of the property management company during the breakdown of the air conditioner.

Your expeditious handling of that situation reflects you complete professionalism, competence, all the while going beyond the call of duty. In addition, these qualities are evident in the people you employ.
